OSS Knuckle Knife from 1873 US Springfield Bayonet

This specimen utilizes an 1873 US Springfield Triangular Socket Bayonet Blade and Scabbard with a piece of black rubber hose for the grip. The stamped knucklebow was made by Foster Bros. and welded onto the tang of the triangular blade. Leather sheath hanger and metal sheath are made from the 1873 cut down bayonet scabbard.
