E. W. Stone, Sr. Skull & Cobra Souvenir Scimitar
Dad made this knife aboard the USS Holland on the way back after the Japanese had surrendered. He made about 10 to kill time and amuse himself by making souvenirs for the sailors to take home for their kids to play with or put up on the wall as a remembrance. The knife has a 14 inch aluminum scimitar type blade with the regular Stone Skull & Cobra knuckles. For reference see Tactical Knives, Fall, 1996 in Gary Boyd’s Column.
