This Moorish Dagger as my father named it, has a blade that is forged from chrome molybdenum steel scavenged from Mitsubishi seaplane struts. The steel was difficult to work with and he used a twenty pound trip hammer to aid him. The dagger has a guard and crown type pommel cap made of Monel with the spiral grip being made of duraluminum alloy. This is a one of a kind specimen that he made for his enjoyment.
